Then you will love synchronised swimming! • Improves your fitness • Increases your core strength and stamina • Great fun for all ages • Courses for adults and children are available Synchro is a challenging yet rewarding sport, it is great for fitness and works on your core strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance. It is not a requirement to have previous experience as we start at the beginning, learning the basics and some new tricks. For adults it is a perfect way to challenge fitness levels and have fun whilst doing so. It is great for joints as the water is low impact. Throughout the term you will work on key skills as well as putting together short routines. In the beginner’s course we cover: • Sculling (head first, feet first, stationary) • Floatation (layouts and shapes) • Figures • Patterns • Somersaults • Treading water synchro variation • Synchro strokes • Intro into performances Classes run in 45 minute sessions. |
